450 North Pearl Street received a Knox Box. The Knox Box provides the fire department with emergency access to the building without a keyholder being present and without the fire department having to break in.
National Grid began its upgrade the electric service for 450 North Pearl Street. New poles and lines will carry and distribute 13,200 volts rather than 4,160 volts. Also, future electric power will come from the more reliable, Menands substation.
450 North Pearl Street's fixtures were upgraded to LED. The upgrade reduces electric usage and costs, increased brightness, and reduced AC costs.
The showroom at Suite 1 of 450 North Pearl Street was refinished with LVT plank flooring. Besides providing high-end aesthetic, the LVT plank flooring is stain and scuff resistance.
The entire building at 450 North Pearl received a new insulated, R-25, EPDM, roof during May 2015. The EPDM roof is warrantied until 2035.
During the summer of 2008, the parking areas between 450 & 452 North Pearl were paved/repaved. Simultaneously, a new storm-sewer system was installed behind and between the buildings.
During September 2006, the 250-gallon, heating-oil tank at 450 North Pearl Street was cleaned, inspected and closed by Magnum Environmental. Spectrum Environmental Associates performed soil tests and found no exvidence of leaking from the tank.
During August 2006, Spectrum Environmental Associates completed its Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessment of 450 North Pearl Street and issued a clean report.
